West Sumbawa, August 12, 2019 - In celebrating the Eid al-Adha 1440 H, PT Amman Mineral Nusa Tenggara ("Amman Mineral") and its employees and alliances incorporated under the Batu Hijau Muslim Foundation (YMBH) handed over the meat of sacrificial animals to be distributed to the rightful community members around the Batu Hijau mine area , such as West Sumbawa, Sumbawa Besar, and several areas on the island of Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara.

This year a total of 74 sacrificial animals were collected, consisting of 40 goats and 34 cows. "Eid al-Adha always encourages and motivates us to always be sincere, grateful and generous to others. Therefore, we fill this year Eid al-Adha by distributing the meat of sacrificial animals to our neighbors around our business area, "said Anita Avianty, Head of Corporate Communications at Amman Mineral."

In an effort to reduce the amount of plastic waste, Amman Mineral conducted familiarization activities to all Takmir Masjid (mosque management) who received sacrificial animals to deliver and distribute the sacrificial meat to the public by using environmentally friendly packages such as besek bambu (containers made of plaited bamboo), banana leaves and called on the recepients to bring their own containers. This is a concrete form of Amman Mineral's care for the environment.

In addition to the handover of sacrificial animals, Amman Mineral also held an Eid al-Adha prayer in 5 locations within the Batu Hijau mine operation area where employees and families of Amman Mineral, alliance, business partners and contractors joined.
