West Sumbawa, August 12, 2019 - Commemorating Eid al-Adha 1440 H, Amman Mineral Nusa Tenggara ("Amman Mineral") and company employees as well as alliances incorporated in the Batu Hijau Muslim Foundation (YMBH) hand over sacrificial animals to be distributed to the rightful communities around the Batu Hijau mining area, such as West Sumbawa Regency, Sumbawa Besar, and several areas on the island of Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara.

This year a total of 74 sacrificial animals were collected, consisting of 40 goats and 34 cows. "Eid al-Adha always reminds us to always be sincere, grateful and share. Therefore, we use this Eid al-Adha as a momentum to share sacrificial animals to our brothers and sisters in our business area, "said Anita Avianty, Head of Corporate Communications at Amman Mineral."

Then in an effort to reduce the amount of plastic waste, Amman Mineral has conducted socialization to all Takmir Masjid who received sacrificial animals to deliver sacrificial meat to the public by using environmentally friendly packaging such as bamboo baskets, banana leaves or urging the beneficiary community to bring their own containers from House. This is a concrete manifestation of Amman Mineral's concern for the environment.

In addition to the surrender of sacrificial animals, Amman Mineral also held Eid al-Adha prayers in 5 locations of the Batu Hijau mine operation area. Eid al-Adha prayer is attended by employees and families of Amman Mineral employees, alliance companies, business partners and contractors.
